getting deployed.
well after a streneous weekend of military training, i got some news.
in june my unit will be going to iraq in support of the military actions there. since there has been a request for officer personal, my contract has been "ammended" and has me to go as of now.
unless there some extreme circumstance, my deployment date is june 01.
just want to say thanks to the s2ki community and especially you guys. the next few months are going to be hectic, and i appreciate the support you guys have given me.

Yikes... You'll be ok.. After talking with a lot of Officers who are supporting OIF you will be fine. Time will fly and you will be back a rich man! TAX FREE BABY!! 
I almost had to go and it's then that I realized that being married has changed my out look on deployments.
But If I was still single like you.....hell yeah.....I'd go.
Once you return you'll look back and be glad that you went and experienced it.
