Grip is on ze way
Don't mean to jump in, Brad, but I figured I'd give my input on this as well.
If you are going to be tracking on V12s, I personally would suggest something mid range aggressiveness for pads. I would get something that doesn't necessarily have a lot of initial bite (so stay away from Hawk DTC series pads. They are rough on rotors anyway especially for the tire being used)
Carbotech XB-8s are good. They can last a long while and have a nice progressive feel, though they need to be properly bedded in or else you are going to hate life.
The other option I would suggest is cobalt XR-3. I have only used the Cobalt XR-1, so I am not entirely certain about the XR-3, but in my experience they were also pretty good. sort of in the middle between the hawk and cobalt as far as initial bite, though the really cool thing is that they don't need to be bedded in and work well out of the box.
I'd stay away from EBC and Porterfield brakes. I don't have any first hand experience with them, but I have never heard good things about them.
Lastly, don't get any of the "street performance" pads that the various companies put out. They suck. They are marginally better than stock pads and WILL fade.

Hey shadow36, I don't know what tires i will be tracking on yet. Due to their sidewall strength, I want to daily the v12's and enjoy spirited canyon driving with them. But for the track, I have to wait and see what my buddy can scrap me when the day comes close or ill buy some tires if i have some loose change. Thanks for the brake input, i have herd my buddies throwing those names around. I should pay better attention ha!
Any vendors here offer good lines?
edit: Also, i titled this "Grip is on ze way" because i have all season junk no name tires up front and dz101 spontaneous tires in the rear. Currently on stock ap2v2 wheels and ill keep em there for spares .
