Default Sumitomo

Does anyone have any experience with Sumitomo. I can get a set of HTRZ 111, for $130 front and $150 rear. (215/45/17) (245/40/17). Seems like an awesome price, pretty sure nobody can beat these prices.

Check Tirerack. They gave them a great review and they have them for a lot less than that, unless by "$130 front and $150 rear" you mean $280 for all four. If that is each, its way too much. Tirerack has them for about $400 for all four.

Thanks for the info, what do you guys think of the Yokohama S.Drive's, are they any good. I don't want a cheap tire but I also don't want to spend a fortune.

I just had a set of the Sumitomo's installed today 225/45/17 fronts and 255/40/17 rears. They filled them to 35lbs each. Does anyone know if that is the proper pressure for these tires on our stock AP2 rims and if not what is the proper pressure? Thanks. Ron

Thanks for the quick reply. I was doing a search and read that the tire pressure is a subjective thing so my question should have been prefaced with my personal driving style and how I intend to be driving to more accurately answer my question. I have also read that the tire pressure that is "correct" or "proper" for me may not be "correct" or "proper" for someone else even with the exact same tires and wheels. LOL guess I should have searched first before posting. I think I will experiment and leave my tires at the 35lbs installed with for now and see how it goes. Thanks again for your help though.

I will post my impressions of these tires in a week or so after I have had some time to try them out.
