Leave the flag up kid

With a proper unlocked iPhone, all you need to do is pop out your SIM card, and put it in the iPhone. I've already went through an unlocked 1st gen 2g with T-mobile, and am on the 3G unlocked iPhone now with T-Mo.

However, It is pointless to buy a 3G unlocked on T-Mo though (As of right now) because the iPhone can only operate @ most on a 2.5G network through T-Mo, compared to ATT's 3G network. Meaning it will still run on the EDGE network in the time being. The same as the 1st gen 2G iPhone. Give it time. Things will get better.

I opted for a 3G because, I the 2G looks way outdated now lol

Like don said, just pop the sim in there and you're in business. I do believe to get internet for your phone through t mo, you have to mess with some of the settings. I can get more info in that if you need tj. I work at t mo and have a couple of co workers that use the iphone
