I have a van with a tow hitch. You would just need to rent the trailor. The only catch....we'd have to stop by the Carlsbad outlets on the way back 
And since its the van, a couple can tag along if you'd like. Let me know.

Is your truck a 4 or 6 cyl? Does it have a 4,000lb towing capacity? By hitch, if you need the ball, I have that but if you need the whole hitch, then that's a bit of money, especially if you want something to pull a car with.
