New to SD, looking for S2K
Hi Everyone,
I just moved here about 3 weeks ago all the way from Toronto, Canada.
Looking to get a s2000. Can you guys point me to some good places (websites, sellers, etc) that I should check out?
Thanks everyone,
Mojo

Craigslist is probably your best bet as well as autotrader.
Since money is of no constraint i think there is a brand spanking new 2009 s2000 as mission valley? honda. Someone on here told me that, maybe they can chime in where its at.
If not look outside of sd and fly out to get the exact one you want

You can check craigslist san diego, LA, Orange County, RIverside, El Centro. I got mine from Garden Grove California, but let me tell you, a personally owned S2K can be troublesome and can be treasure. It truly depends how it was treated. Now since if you dont have any financial worries then honestly, I would try to go with a dealer. Not a small used joint, but a like a Carmax, or Pacific Honda, stuff like that. The small joints sometimes do enought to get it rolling. EX: I went to SIRY Auto Group and wanted a Ford Lighting they had on display. When I go up close, you could see the paint runs on the drivers side, plastic trim busted, an OIL LEAK!!!! He said we can fix that. Nope. They wont. ANd they wanted 20K for it. LOL. A reputable dealer is def the way to go.
craigslist bro. it's pretty easy to figure out how good a car has been treated. carfax and the maitnence report, if the car was garaged and washed correctly it shows the love the owner has. craigslist will be your best bet, a clean title with low miles are all over the place.
Thanks guys! I will check out Craigslist. We don't use it as much in Canada but it seems popular here.
I will keep you everyone posted and maybe reach out to the members here to help me checkout a few cars.
Any other things I should keep an eye out that are particular when looking at a s2000?
