Hey all,

One of my friend got a speeding ticket today when going to work. Speed limit is 25mph and he was around 40mph. He was asked to appear in court and retake the driving test within 5 working days. He had couple of tickets end of last year in state of OH while his license is from MO. However, when he applied for CA driving license, he inquired MO DMV and they said the record was clean.

Can he say that he had no tickets when he appear in court? He would like to know how to approach this situation. Also, he has CA temporary license now and still waiting for the original, its been less than 2 months.

Any suggestions and recomendations, if in case he want to hire a lawyer, are greatly appreciated.

seek a lawyer , i think each state has their own crappy laws.

 

IMO, 40 in a 25 isn't worth the cost of a layer. Pay the fine, go to traffic school, and save the hassle......

 

i think mr ticket charges 99 bucks well use to this was a few years ago.

 

ya just pay the ticket, save the lawyer for the 100+ ticket
