Servicing in SD
Hey All,
My girlfriend has a 1997 Civic EX that is just about to hit 75K miles... It needs an intermediate service and a timing belt change. Any suggestions as to where to go? Is she best off going to the dealer for $500? She lives in College Area, but works in Poway, so we're close to where ever. Any help would be great!
Thanks, Chris

yea i just hit 60K in my S2k im wondering the same thing is it really worth letting the dealer do my car for 500$. because i already got my valves adjusted recently and that is one of other things that needed to be done. can the rest be do it youself?
Where has she taken her car in the past for service? If she has a history with a particular dealership service department and they've done right by her in the past, then she will probably get better service from them than going to any place we might recommend. Most people here try to do their own maintenance.
