La Jolla cove is nice Sean. Downtown La Jolla is a great to chill and walk and watch the scenery.

is mission beach any good?

and isn't there a couple malls off of the 8 going west from the 805?

Yea. There are 2 malls in missions valley. Its mission valley mall (the mall visible on the 8 freeway) and fashion valley mall (about 2 minutes away from mission)

Be careful though, both malls are ranked highest in car theft, so if you got some expensive stuff on the s, you might want to leave that at home and roll in something else

Theres a place in Gaslamp across from Croce's that has the best quesadillas Ive ever had. Some little cantina hole that is bomb.

BBQ is near Hillcrest and called Phils BBQ, order then sit down but down good. For Mediteranean go to Med Grill on University, great sit down nice place. And yeah the Chicken Pot Pie is ghetto!
