On Sunday you should hit George's downtown La Jolla. You get a 180 degree view of the ocean and the seared ahi tuna is what I recommend.

You can grab seafood at Top of the Market (by Sea Port Village and ask for a table by the water) and then go to Top of the Hyatt for a great view and cocktails.

coronado is beautiful as well, they have a nice little seaport like town just off of Orange? i think, can remember exactly but you can see downtown from a nice little island bay spot. at night the view is awesome, they have icecream, and a merry go round which is kinda cute. its worked wonder for me. Also balboa park is awesome as well. there are museums (not sure if you into that) but it can show her that your also a cultured person not just a car junkie. they have wonderful outdoor plays in spring-fall time and during the summer they have shakesphear in the park and free movies inthe park that they project onto the wall, really fun. got lots of great ideas.. but i dont wanna give away all my secrects, those are just a couple for now.. haha have fun, i love san diego.. boy do i miss it.

hornblower dinner cruises are great, good scenery and you don't have to walk.
