More than likely you haven't lost a ton of weight in your legs, it's probably a combination of losing weight + toning your leg muscles. Just keep at it. Everyone's body reacts differently to exercise and there's no such thing as targeting fat loss it will come as long as you eat clean and keep exercising.

Running is only making your legs even more lean with endurance muscle.
What you didn't mention is WHERE is the weight located that you want to lose?

Actually if you start weight training for your legs so they will add a little mass and tone, you will lose body fat throughout.
Driving on La Jolla village drive, I hear "clank clank", pulled over and only to see my right side strake fell of! Next thing you know I'm in the middle of the street on a busy intersection trying to look for the peices, found it, they are dunzo!
I walked 10 minutes back to my car to repark it and avoid a parking ticket. so then Little police 3 wheeled ticket car rolls by after i move it... Whew good timing.. or so i thought. Come back an hour later to a no front plate ticket...
