What are you prepared to do to defend your basic freedoms?
Wow you've got to be shitting me. I'd start washing my car as he's driving off. And then order 10 pizzas to my douche neighbors house. No washing your car in public? He even said no washing your furniture. So you get cited for being hygienic? What about car wash businesses? Do these not exist here since its illegal.
Were they really going to pressure wash a primered car? You know, shine it up real nice?
OK, maybe they were going to clean the motor but still......maybe the kids throw wild parties, have dogs that bark all night and shit on the neighbors lawn. Neighbor called to complain, the cop did his job.
Meh.

Bottom line, make love, not war, be prepared for both

That does not look like NYPD uniform, If I had to take a guess, I'd say it's a town or village PD in Long Island. The problem is, I doubt the cops rolled up just to bust those guys balls, they had to show up because a complaint was filed. It's their job to repond to complaint, no matter how stupid it may be. Those village's and towns have specific laws which they can ask you to move out or fine you for, if you violate the laws. It's like living in a condo/co-op/ private community. You agree to the terms of residency before moving in. You may think that most of the rules are stupid, and never enforced, but when you have neighbor who complains, the board or the cops or whoever are bound to enforce the laws or terms of the contract. For this case, I'd say the cops did nothing wrong.
