Buyer Beware

.MM like to sell items to multiple people.
I talked to him told him I'm taking a Bumper he was selling. I told him i was 100% sure. I talked to the Man face to face. Well today i even made appointment with body shop and i get a Pm not a phone call but a PM saying he sold it to one of his friends. He said he sold it because it was the only way his friend would buy the fenders also. That is just bad seller. He was also about to sell me parts that someone else had already said they were taking. and i said i wouldn't do that!

the deal isn't done until you actually pay for it. someone beat you to it. he is probably getting a ton of pm's about his part out that its first to pay gets the stuff. don't be upset.

Seems like a bad seller to me. Ya its true a deal is not done until the money is transferred...but if someone verbally agrees to a deal...why shouldn't the deal go through? Its a bad seller when the seller goes back on his word for whatever reason. Plus the OP states that this seller was also trying to sell parts that he promised to other people...meaning this seller cannot be trusted in what he says, so why would anyone want to deal with this seller in the first place?

I agree with Suzuka Joe, unless $ has either been put down in a deposit or exchanges hands it's not a deal. I've been burned on here plenty of times by people saying they want something and call "dibs" but never follow through..."Show me the money..."

I had the cash with me.. I was going to pick it up.. but when me and him were talking he stated he has never been in a Turbo S2K. He wanted to buy an EVO so he wanted to see what mine felt like. So I drove an hour and half up there so he can feel it out. So just in case he might want to keep his S and Turbo his. I spend an almost 2 hours up there chillin I was even there holding the parts so he can take the pics to post ;x .. The part that pissed me off I told him 100% that i was taking it, and not to sell it to someone else. He even called me on my way home to tell me he would meet me on Monday at his lunch break so I can pick it up then . OHH well I'm over it. I just went and spend my $ on a FULL-RACE Manifold, Downpipe, Tial 44mm Wastegate.. another thing his prices are to high most of that stuff you can buy new delivered to your house for the same price. So in a way I'm glad he screwed me over .. I wanted to kill him that day though I was dreaming about it all night and then to get screwed like that .. it hurts!!
