I never advertised these springs as Sportline Springs. I said they were Eibach race springs with specific spring rates of 340/380, which they indeed are. It is true that Ground Control sold these springs to me as specific to the S2000 with the perches, hence the specific part numbers. However, the different part number is their own relabelling for exactly the same Spring as advertised. I think you got what you paid in a timely fashion without any false advertising.

I have no problem with sending the springs back first. If he would actually agree to taking them back, then they will be on the way tommorow.

Here's my 2cents. If indeed, these can be used as stand alone springs (without the perch) than Asura is in the clear. But, if they can not, and you need the perch, then I think the product was misrepresented. Granted, it could be and probably was unintentional. However, a person (regardless of their rep) bought springs they thought could be directly installed onto the car without the perch, and that is not what they got.

Nik... this is karma comming to bite you in the ass, no two ways about it. This isn't a flame on you, just spelling out the situation.

 

Thanks tenblade. I called ground control and they told me they will NOT work without the perches.

I guess I'll just shut up now since i don't want to get banned and use the springs as a pen holder, or maybe make a cool little table

Then, I'd suggest calling Eibach and seeing what they have to say i.e. Ground controll may just want you to buy the coilover system OR see how much the perches are. If what you say is true, and they need the perches then Asura should refund the price or split the price of perches.
1st things first.... call the companies and get the names of the people you spoke to OR get emails and post the email. Asura can do the same. I assume he checked out whether or not the springs could be used without the perches. If he didn't, then his FS thread should have mentioned that.

You do have different IP's...but they point to the same city. Okay fine, we have a lot of users in the same city. Why have you previously lied about your location as Floroda? You've been asked about it before and you didn't have a clear answer. Don't use the different IP excuse, they are both in the same geographical location...ie not FL. You'll probably be spared, but we know for sure that Snowbebe and Nik are one in the same. Didn't mean to jump the gun, but Nik has pissed us off enough. I'll give you the benefit and assume you're not Nik, but I think it's arguable either way. Why is your location still FL when you clearly are not, and why were you defensive about it before?
