As I have stated, Im not saying that you are lying or that you had a bad transaction with him. Im just saying that he's not a bad guy. Maybe the title of this thread is wrong. Hopefully Joon will make your situation better.

Kowen44 here AKA Kelvin Owen is a totally dishonest seller.

Not going to get into too many details here since my wife and I have pending legal action against him but the crib notes are I traded a mint 02 IS300 for his supposedly mint 01 S2000 for my wife. Several problems were uncovered and after we finally got the title took the car to have it inspected found out the car was hacked up......poor bodywork done..no name exhaust cracked and leaking..headlights leaking ....bolts missing...wiring damaged etc.

None of this was mentioned at the time of the trade and he tries to make me out as the bad guy.

Fortunately some of the Mid Atlantic members here are very helpful so not everyone on here is a liar and a cheat....

Please do not do business with this guy if you are considering doing so. This has been copied to all of the Lexus boards to warn potential victims etc.

Thanks guys......Pete

LOL i'm the jackoff? Maybe if you didn't talk s**t in my thread about the wheels, then i would have considered selling them to you. I don't know what the point of saying what you did was other than to turn off others to buying my wheels. You got what was coming end of story.

did you two ever exchange money or make a deal and him fall through? if not, i'll remove your post from this thread. you cannot just come into a thread like this with your one-liners. from your post it looks like you're just talking crap 'cause he didn't give you your price. give us details.

And do never never never do anykind of business with 10seknds2k, Ricky Rodrigues. He only rips other peoples money and doesn't send anything to you.

Couple of guys has got their products, but were totally different as described.

I hope that tree falls on his car, or something bad happens to him. God dam it that I live other side of the sea.

Lost only 2 months of driving season because of his lies. Burn in hell asswipe.

And I don't bother to list here all the PMs between us and text messages. There is a lot of empty promises.

This is the second scammer I have been cheated by (snowbebe was the first). By and large the dozens of deals I have made on s2ki have worked out well, and I am glad to have the opportunity to buy things through the ForSale forum.

Here is a link to the auction:

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...0&#entry6460470

After a week delay before actually shipping them, they were packed in a tiny box without ANY padding whatsoever.

Naturally, they were destroyed in shipping as they bounced around against each other. I'll be adding pictures tonight so that everyone can see - but here are the PM's we exchanged.

I'd be interested in what other people on s2ki think about this.

Hey Mo!

There was NO padding in the box, and it was about 1/4 the size needed to ship them anyhow. All the tabs got smashed off and are floating around the bottom of the box. I didn't look at the glass, but since it was against the wall of the box with no padding, I am pretty sure they will be busted up too. I hate to see good hardware wasted this way.

What would you like to do? Do you want pictures?

-JD

What!!! I told them its fragile!! They said everything should be fine! I paid for shipping insurance as well!! Call usps and tell them what happened!! This is ridiculous, everything is supposed to be fine! I didnt put padding b.c they told me it would be fine and I shouldnt be worried about that. Call them and let me know what is going on.

================================================== ====================================

1) I can't comment on the person who told you shipping fragile plastic in an empty box would be fine, even though it goes against all common sense, and I shouldn't comment on the wisdom of following such obviously flawed advice. That person would likely be fired if you report them, since every major shipping company (UPS,USPS,DHL,FedEx) has minimum padding requirements - often they will open a box to make sure it was adequately padded. They ALWAYS worry about padding - I am really suprised someone would risk their job just to give you advice that would damage an item.

2) A requirement for the damage clause of insurance is that the item be adequately padded/packaged (read the form). Because there was no padding whatsoever, any insurance claim will be instantly rejected - I have been through this before. Anyhow, you bought and own the insurance, I don't - if you want to work it, YOU need to call them and spend 40-50 hours working the issues. This is YOUR problem, not mine.

3) I paid you money for a pair of taillights shipped to my door, I held up my end of the bargain. You delivered a box of scrap plastic, as a result of negligent packaging on your end - so you did not hold up your end of the bargain. I want a complete refund of the $60 I paid; if you issue the refund through PayPal they will refund your fees.

I will be happy to send you photos of the packaging being opened and the damaged taillights so you can confirm what happened. I am also happy to ship these back to you, at your expense, although at this point I think they are not worth the shipping.

Please let me know how you plan on proceeding.

-JD

================================================== ====================================

I am sorry that the tailights are damaged, but how do I know that you didnt break them? I am not going to give you any refund because I did hold up my end of the deal. I shipped perfect tailights, when they were given to the post office. I have shippped christmas ornaments like the method I used to ship the lights. My grandma never complained that the ornaments were broken. Please dont bullshit with me when I know YOU BROKE THEM! I called the post office and they said they handle fragile items with care. You own a 30,000 dollar car and your bitchin about 60 dollars? Your a scam artist that wants to keep the taillights and take my money. Sorry for the inconvienience.
