I had purchased a final drive gear set from philthys2000 aka Phillip Hudson, he was selling them as brand new Motorklasse 4.44 gears. He said they had never been installed and were perfect. Upon taking them to be installed I was informed they were in fact Richmond 4.57 gears and the threading on the pinion gear had been messed up to the point that the gear set was completely unusable. I have tried to contact him and he will not respond. Buyers beware of this "member" as he brings shame to this forum and to the s2000 community as well.

Do you have a link to the thread where he was selling his gears? I'd like to see how he advertised this. I was told he lives in Ohio.. do you know where in Ohio? I can look to see if anyone in the area knows him

In the past I have dealt with Philthys2000. He is a great guy, he is not a scammer by any means in my book.
