I just wanted to bring some attention and shed some light on an S2KI member. His forum name is SentTwoKill. I contacted him regarding a listing he had in which he was selling a new 2mm head gasket. We spoke through PM regarding price and shipping and the final sale price agreed upon was 85$ shipped and pp'ed. I requested the seller to send it via USPS and get a tracking number as they have priority boxes of different sizes for a decent price. He contacts me after he supposedly shipped it using UPS but couldn't get a tracking number because they didn't offer it and that "UPS had issues shipping to PO Box addresses." He tells me it would take 4-5 days as of June 8, but 9 days goes by and nothing. I contacted him on the 17th to try and figure out what was going on. He tells me that the postal worker told him UPS is known to have issues with PO Box deliveries and a lot of people get scammed like that. All I could think is if he knew about this, why would he still use UPS to send it???? The only logical answer I can think of is he never sent it and is now using this as his scapegoat to scamming me. If you know this company has had issues with PO Box and that they don't offer tracking WHY WOULD YOU STILL USE THEM??? Especially after I specifically asked that you use USPS and get a tracking number? Now he's accusing me of being the scam and told me that I need to send him a 2mm head gasket if I want my money back. Ughhhhh I don't know what kind of world you live in I pay you for something that you can't deliver and then you have the tenacity to tell me to send you the item you failed to deliver just so I can get my money back. I already open a claim with Paypal but was surprised of how thick this guy's skin is to try and call me a scam after he received my money and I have nothing to show for it. I think if you get a flat rate priority box it will be he cheapest option... that or a parcel post either way shouldn't be more than 15$. If that sounds good then lets do 85$ shipped? What's your paypal?

I dont think USPS doesnt tracking numbers. Ill just do UPS. Ill be able to ship it Wednesday around 3-4pm. Here is my phone number 847 346 2210. Send me a text and ill send the tracking number once I ship it.

I dont understand why you had to make this thread after filling out that paypal report. Did you call UPS and ask about tracking numbers to a PO box? The guy said UPS cant do a tracking number for PO box, I thought that was wierd my self. I gave you the phone number to call that store and ask for yourself. They know who I am and would tell you I shipped it. The girl said that it might even take up to next Friday for you to get. Ill give you the 80 dollars back if its not at your PO box by then and when the head gasket gets to you just ship it. If I gave you the 80 dollars would you just give me the gasket when it gets to you?

Dude I tried to level with you and never accused you of scamming up to the point when you accused me first. I was all for giving it a few more days to come but you started saying I'm a scam and blamed the fault on my address or whatever, then you go and accuse me publicly in your for sale thread so this is my response to that. You're the seller, I sent you the money and don't have the merchandise, don't have any proof of shipment, and now I have to put up with you calling me the scam. How's that work? The case is open, if it comes then I'll close it and apologize. If not, then Paypal can handle it and everyone will see the outcome. Plain and simple. For whatever reason, you neglected to make the only sensible decision, which was NOT to use the courier that didn't provide tracking and has had issues with PO Box shipments. Then you go and say this and that about me trying to do you dirty and now you won't even own up to it. You may have outstanding previous transactions with countless members of multiple forums, but the way you've handled this one up to now, has been nothing but juvenile.

 

I was in this exact situation.

UPS cannot deliver to PO (post office, as in USPS) boxes.

They try to find a physical address that they can deliver it to. In my case, they delivered it to an old address that they had on file.

Oh, and yes, there was a tracking number.

OP, you need to call UPS and find out where the package is, and most likely give them a physical address for it to be delivered to.

Also, I agree that you should have used a different service to ship the package. It's your duty to the buyer to make this experience the best it can be. Like... I recently shipped off my turbo kit, I found out the same day that I forgot to inclued the EMU in the boxes... so I called, let the buyer know and shipped it on my dime because he shouldn't have to foot the bill because of something I did.

It's being decent.

 

Sorry I forgot I said that in the thread. Ill change that for you. Did you call that UPS store I shipped it from? The guy will tell you they cant give a tracking number. I'm told they can give tracking numbers. It was going alright until you started freaking when the word scam was brought up. UPS to BO box. Did I handle this well? nope. Do I care at this point with all those jack ass text you sent? nope. Like I said before. If its not at your PO box by Friday I'll just give you the money back. Then if it ever does get back to you just ship it back to me. I have a whole new view on selling online and dont even know if I want to sell local anymore. This has not been worth my time or the hassle one bit.
