Really nice work.

Transformation was amazing.

Did you clean/extract the carpets/mats? or is that just a vacuum?

Would have liked a few pictures of the 'entire' car in the pre-detail state, but that is a minor issue.

llckll- $500- $600+ really depends on the detailer, lots of factors involved.

RUGBY- owner did not feel the carpets needed to be extracted. I do use a Mytee 8070 though, great machine. Will have to get pictures of the entire car on my next detail, thanks for the recommendation.

Thank you everyone for the compliments!

That is awesome! Good job.

On another note, can you comment that respray can never be as good as OEM factory paint? I hear that argument a lot.

9 times out of 10 a respray will not be good as a factory job. At the factory, the paint is applied by robots. They are pretty much perfect. Sometimes the car is painted by hand, or the base coat will be by hand, and the clear coat applied via robots. But when robots are painting the car its pretty much perfect. There will be little to no dirt/ dust in the paint, there is almost always dirt/ dust in the paint with repaints. Then you've got all the other issues with repaints, orange peel, improper prep work, overspray, drips, paint not matching, etc. Then when they sand/ buff the paint it can lead to even more issues.

So I always tell people, do not repaint your car unless you absolutely HAVE to.

I can pretty much always spot a repaint. There will be some kind of flaw in the paintwork that would not be there with a factory job. Repaints also decrease the value of your car. Paint correction is the best way to go because you are restoring the original paint, this INCREASES the value of the car. Maybe paint corrections should cost more than repaints! But thats why I charge what I do. When Im finished, the car will look like its been repainted.

Don't know If I saw this anywhere, but what did you use for polishing the swirls out? Those before and after pictures are incredible. Nice work on the NFR
