We got snow. Still coming down. Shoveled about 3-4 inches this am and came in to work. More dancing awaits me once I get back home tonight I'm sure

Just a coating here, but high temps here today/tomorrow about 10, with lows a little below zero. Sure do miss the 45 degrees we had yesterday.

Was in the 50s here yesterday after the roads were iced up the night before, 2 pileups on major highways of at least 30 cars each.

Today a blizzard.

Tonight and tomorrow, temps with wind chill at or below zero.

Inch or three here. Cold. Saturday it is mid 40's so it'll melt. So far, this winter hasn't been a big deal.

Someone was saying that we should get double the totals of what was forecasted. So maybe close to a foot

NASCAR is dividing the Daytona 500 into three segments. It's not clear to me if the race will be stopped and restarted at the end of each segment. I'm not sure how this will play with their fans.

Abandon All Hope, Here Is How NASCAR Is Chopping Up The Daytona 500 Into 'Stages'

The stage breakdown for the Daytona 500 is 60-60-80. The first and second stages for the Daytona 500 will consist of 60 laps. The final stage to determine the winner of the 59th annual “Great American Race” will be 80 laps.

Not sure how I feel about this. NASCAR lost me as a fan years ago, but I do watch the Daytona 500 every year. Part of me is mad that they are screwing with tradition and doesn't want to watch it. Part of me is bored with Daytona, as there is no "race" until the last 100 miles anyway. Maybe the new format will provide action worth watching as it is now going to be 3 sprints.
