The diorama is definitely impressive.

I'd love to do some models again but you can't get good toluene based glue anymore.

FYI... For historic armor models, I like Missing Lynx site. Many very good modelers and authors. Good site for history info & photos, too. Esp the Discussion Groups.

I just got a Tamiya 1/24 S2000 kit for Christmas and have never put one of these together or painted it. What kind of paint should I use? Its already white and I would like to get the interior to be red. Any advice is great! Thanks!

Here's a video, just one I pulled off the internet a minute ago, that seems to do a decent job of covering the basics. The most common brand of paint is Testors, which has been around for ever. There are lots of high end paints and tips, like using an air brush, etc. but you can get great results with the basics.

I painted my S2000 model Silver with red interior. Got the paint at a craft store. Testors, 2 coats. Get some good small art brushes to paint it.

If there is anyone interested, I have three Honda plastic model kits I am willing to sell. They relate to the S2000's history.

I purchased the same model in a die-cast; as I recall it was around $200 but in any case I never opened this box. It's 1/20th scale.

The next two are unopened as well, both are 1/24th scale from the same manufacturer - Fujmi - of the Honda S800; fore-runner of the S2000.

I've never tried to sell them. I haven't even thought about a price for them. But if someone is interested, send me a PM and we can see what we can work out.

I used to build. My model building actually ground itself to a halt when I was told to come here by a fellow modeler back in 2006. I, unfortunately, don't have a place to build. I've tried a few times but when you have to pack up everything when you're at a stopping point - it becomes too tedious to continue.
