22" so far and still coming. Got up at 6:30 to snow blow. Got most of it done, but broke the drive actuator cable. Off to work 1 1/2 hours late. Hope I can find a cable today.

I think you guys got more than planned and southeast of you (NYC) got less. Are you in a lake-effect snow area?

Right around the 30" mark here in Millerton. Not sure that I have ever plowed that amount of snow before from 1 storm. Maybe once before in the 80's. I plowed 4 times during the course of the storm to keep it manageable.

Yes, we're in lake-effect zone. Prediction is for another 6+" before I get home from work.

Well, I guess it's a nice area to live, when it's not snowing 30".

I'll take snow over earthquakes, hurricanes and tornadoes! We know how to deal with it here. I have a 500' driveway and a large walk behind snowblower. Cleared 9" last night after work. Took about and a quarter to clear another 13" this morning. Roads were snow covered but, with a good set of snow tires on my Civic, it only took an extra 10 minutes to get to work.

Feel sorry for those in the area that still don't have power after last week's wind storm.

No one in town stocks the cable. Had to order from Amazon. Comes in the middle of next week.

I think I can rig something up when I get home tonight. Might have to break down and call a plow guy.
