What plans do you have for the coming Weekend?
Ran the toughest race of the year today- 10K only- Bruneau Beast. Up and through the sand dunes. Fixed mom's bumper that she tried to tear off last week while we were in Vegas.
Tomorrow will be getting the stuff we bought in Vegas put up in the house and the cars put back together and cleaned. Seeing a movie probably.

I'm going to an NSX drive in Malibu in the morning. It's been months since I've gone with the group. As usual, the prediction is for clouds and fog in the mountains in the AM. We end up driving in and out of clouds on Mulholland Drive.
I got in another 35 miles on my ElliptiGO today after doing it on Thursday, also. I grab a ride when it's not too hot.

Neat hearing about these fun runs you are enjoying. Don't forget to count your blessings: You live somewhere within reasonable driving distance to so many group drives and rallies. We have to drive two hours to get to an auto-x. Now muscle car shows? We have one almost every weekend. Hmmmm. I wonder how much that Nova SS is going to go for on eBay.
This weekend we are mostly staying in out of the rain. But it did abate enough yesterday that I did some truck-hunting for Sandy. Not much out there that meets all her wants and her budget. But then on the way home I found myself behind the perfect truck...with a dealer tag on it. So I followed him until he stopped in front of a beach house that--I would learn--he and his wife had just purchased. Turns out he owns the dealership that is selling the truck and he was using it over the weekend. So Monday we will take a good look at it and, with luck, Sandy's transportation issues will be resolved.

How long do you have the cabin for? 24 hours on antibiotics and the children should feel better. The guest we brought to SC came down with strep. She was 90% better the next AM. Fingers crossed for you that son in law feels better and you get to hit the road. I've heard from many people that kidney stone pain is worse than delivering a baby. He gets a badge of honor.

Had a long night last night, spending 8 hours with the son-in-law at the local hospital running tests due to his fever and stomach pain. After his second CGI in two days, chest X-ray, multiple blood tests - - no answers. We got home at 3:30am and I was happy to see my friend Jim Beam stayed up. Today both grandkids are throwing up. Not the best way to start a vacation. We may not get to the cabin at all. We have other relatives who are already up north in their motorhome waiting for us. Of course, my son, who took his vacation, and his sons were all keyed up to join us as well to fish and swim.
We just got to make the best of the situation for now.

Matt and Glenn (Jetsitter) will be there, as well. Returning home is two weeks, + or - .
