Everybody on the base where I was stationed from 1969 to 1971 had Honda 350s. At least it seemed like it. I had a Sears Allstate. But not a wimpy little scooter. This was a 250cc "twingle" two stroke built in Austria by Steyr Daimler Puch AG. Really ordinary bike on the outside but inside the engine two pistons shared a common combustion chamber. It was fun. Paid 50 for it and abandoned it due to a transfer while the bike was in downtown San Antonio needing repairs. Should have held on to it. I was young and foolish. I am no longer young.

Go back to the shop you left it in. Walk in, and yell "when the hell is this thing going to be ready?"
