70-200 2.8. After a while, I stacked an ND4, ND8 and CP. I think the first 2 were without, the last 2 were with (and still shooting at 1/8000th).

Cool stuff, Gary. I don't know anyone shooting photos, but I hope to see some along the way.

A very so-so pic shot with a cheap Sony Ciber-shot. Sunset over Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville, TN.

OK, not really sunset. Shot just before eclipse totality. Sometimes a good story can make the picture.

Love that "compressed look" of the lighthouse shot!

And the mood conveyed with the eclipse "dusk" photo. Did the entire 360º view of the horizon look the same, at that moment. Someone said that it look like sunset everywhere he looked, at that moment during the eclipse.

Lashed-up old school Rokinon fisheye lens onto A7 with generic adapter. Not too bad for patchwork arrangement.

If you have some time to kill and an interest in photography, give this guy's lecture a listen. He is the photographer/photo journalist for our local paper, but he's been published world wide. I've had a conversation with him along the way. He is humble, and kind, and often most giving of his time and his work. Links to his lecture and his web site below. PS after listening to him, I want to quit my job, roam the streets with my camera looking for opportunities to take photos which truly tell a story, but Rick is not quite on board with this.

My old camera and lens.

On a lighter note, don't you love the "infinite scroll" on posts with a thousand pages?

That first one looks like a Disney shot.
