I don't think this is possible, with the head secured to the block. Besides, the original photo only had one valve destroyed.

It would be interesting to inspect all the parts --- to try and figure out the extent of damage.

What I see is the heads broke off both exhaust valves. Both valve heads are smashed together in the same exhaust seat.

I am sure everything is toast. Again I am going to say it didn't actually drop a valve though, just snapped one in two.

Yeah, you are correct, again.

Amazing amount of damage.

Guys, this s2k has 167k miles but the body is SUPER CLEAN even the under body, just a couple minor dings and paint chips.. I've considered selling it and even got an offer of 5k on stock wheels this weekend, I have some mods but nothing too crazy. I still don't know for sure that I want to let it go though I'd have to wait til tax time to get another engine as I am buying my first house next month... what do you think?

Tax time? The so-called refund is just the money you overpaid during the year. Stop doing that!

Someone stole your front license plate I see. Perfect for cops to stop and sniff. "How many beers have you had today, sir?" (The expected answer is, of course, "two.") Amazing the number of felonies are discovered in traffic stops for this, missing tail lights, and other "probable cause" stops. Why go thru the hassle when some ex-girlfriend (or the former owner) left a roach under the seat? (Sorry that you won't have to worry about this for a while.)

Tough decision. But, if you are buying a house, prolly tax refunds are going to go to house renovations and furniture. The car may have to stay on hold for awhile. And if having children is in the equation... maybe years before you can fix the Honda. Dunno, prolly best to sell, as is. Then look for another good "toy car" in the future.

It took me 15 years after buying a house and having kids, to even consider restoring a car. Glad I didn't keep my old BMW sitting around all that time. Just to fall apart.

is there any point at all to this comment, besides to come off like a complete d!ck bag? I am sorry, but this is one of many comments where your a complete jacka$$ and make me embarrassed that your part of the Ohio community.

BTW I haven't had a front plate on any of my cars for the past 10 years and have only ever been stopped once, so fvck off!

I've seen this car in person. It's so clean. I hope you're able to get it fixed!
