I use mine ALL THE TIME. CD's, drinks, notebook, gloves, suntan lotion, chapstick, map, tissues, glasses, camera etc. STAY PUT and are easy to reach.

You'll notice I have the strap tightened around the passenger seat more than I have to, but I do this so drinks won't budge, no matter what the size.

It's lower than the passenger's legs and will fold down if it bothers you. The strap easily hides under/around the seat material.

See item AFS-10, it's only $12

The ACO-5 fits in the trunk base really nicely.

I can also endorse the following product, I use it daily in my office at work for keeping drinks cold or hot.

It works off of 12V DC and includes an adapter for both the car and for 110V AC.

So it works in a car just as readily as it does a desk, you could put it in the same place I have the organizer shown.

I use:

It's been a huge help and works great!

I just run the straps to metal ridges behind the trunk liner and it stays put through everything.
