Also, FWIW here something to keep in mind when changing tires:

Bridgestone said it was important that when installing the tires to only choose a shop which has a Hunter Tire Changer which eases the tire over the rim and seals the bead correctly without damaging/scratching the rim.

Have to keep this one in mind - we should keep local lists of who has this.

Coming into this thread a little late perhaps...and certainly there may be wiser folks than I that have already replied to you, but I'm curious about the first part of your post -- indicated above...

Regarding the history of your tires...are you saying above that you had new tires put on & that the boneheads had installed them facing in the wrong direction? If so, am I correctly (or incorrectly) interpreting that the same new tires were turned around -- not replaced, turned around. If there was a period of time that the tires were installed facing the wrong direction, did you run them for any period of time like that? If so, how long? Ultimately, my question is, if you ran them for any significant period of time in the wrong direction and then turned them around, could you be experiencing the tires having "worn in" incorrectly and now you find potential tread separation symptoms occurring? Just curious.

hecash, These boneheads scraped the hell out of my wheel with that arm, time for me to raise holy hell. Heck I even have to take the centercaps out first.

It'll take some time to get used to the ACT PP, that's all good, but it kicked my butt installing it!!

w1ngman, nah, I caught the problem when I got home, but I never take the car in, just the wheels, so there were no miles put on them, and thankfully they cant accidentally put the rear tires on the fronts.
I can tell which tire goes where in the front by how the edges are worn. Now its time to swap fronts to rear to find exactly which one for sure. Its taking time because the car has been in the air for a couple days.
