suit36,

wow, nice!
Those wheel's should come standard. I like them though. But I think if I was going to upgrade the wheel's I'd get a dished, lightweight design.

I wish Honda Australia were as "intouch" with style as Honda Japan *appear* to be.

wil..

The "Honda Tuning" mag featured new manufacturer accessories recently. I think these have just been released (probably to coincide with the new 2002 model).

I like the concept of genuine Honda accessories for modifying exhaust, suspension etc. No warranty problems!

Also, I wonder whether this "sport suspension" was fitted to the UK car recently reviewed by EVO mag?

MMmmm.

Ran it through a translator.

The ride height is dropped by 10mm.
The front shocks are adjustable. Dunno what that 10mm might to do the suspension geometry, esp on the rear, but who knows. I guess you could realign it all at the new height and it will be mostly ok.

Strangely enough, they actually claim that the rear spoiler "obtains an improvement in lift balance".
Yeh, right, at maybe 500kph....heh.

They've been out about a year.

The wheels weigh about 10-11Kg each and are pretty expensive. Someone (MG I think) tried to organise a GB but it fell through.

I wouldn't get too excited about them.

This information has actually been around for a while -- someone found it and posted months ago. None of these things -- exhaust, coilover, spoilers -- if bought from aftermarket vendors, should void the warranty, so IMHO, that's not a valid reason for buying them from Honda.

The exhaust look like a stainless version of the stock exhaust. Those resonators are huge! If you're going to spend this kind of money, there are many aftermarket exhausts that are probably better and more affordable.

I have the Honda Sports Suspension installed in my car. Bought it in Japan. It's an improvement if you want more feel and faster chassis reaction at the expense of a slightly harder ride. Still confortable though, this is not a race suspension.

Obviously you need to re-align after installation.
