Default Light bulbs

What the hell has the government done to save us? Went to Lowes to buy some LED outdoor bulbs for a pole light. Their shelves were down by at least 50% and they didn't have what I want. Went to our local hardware, one of few still in business, and their shelves were even worse.

On one of my last road trips through the USA I drove past a GE flourescent lightbulb plant (somewhere around Ohio), I turned to my wife and said that plant won't be around in a few more years.

You need to change the post light to a gas light.

I still have quite a few incandescent bulbs and fixtures. They last forever. Color is great and natural. Easy to dim without any flickering. Not an environmental waste problem. My favorites are the two bedside reading/nightstand/wall mounted lights. You can turn them down so low you can only see them when your eyes adjust to the dark.

I am changing the pole light fixture as I am tired of the one I have sucking in water ... pretty gold and all but it sucks. I thinking of this one.
