Light bulbs
I was driving through one of my properties early morning today and seen the dreaded flashing LED light - when they start to die off they flash like mad as the internal controller goes bonkers
Yup mine are all warm colour, I know when I switched to all LEDs in my home the electrical cost really dropped , it was very evident.

I did read somewhere though that if you look closely in the fine print, most will say they are not meant to be used in enclosures, so basically not in most light fixtures. They say there are some that specifically say they are made to be used in enclosures and those apparently will last much longer in your typical house fixtures. I have not dug in further to figure out which ones yet.
The power supplies produce a lot of heat and when enclosed cause them to age out and die sooner. I know in our non enclosed fixtures (aka upwards facing ones with no tops) they last much longer. In our fully enclosed fixtures they will not outlast an incandescent most of the time. I have 2 I am already on my 2nd replacement for in our house that we have lived in for 4 years now.
It is the power supply module that dies in them (causing the flashing at first before they die), which is why none of them come even close to lasting as long as the leds can theoretically last. I like them but so far out of many brands over many years, I would say they last maybe 25% longer than the incandescent bulbs and some have not even lasted that long.
