F24 Stroker build questions
Thanks ahead of time for your input!
So, I've already made my purchase from inlinepro for my f24 stroker setup. The intention is to run it N/A for awhile and eventually go turbo in the next few years (Primarily due to the amount I'm spending currently
). I need to move on to the cylinder head and have it refreshed, but trying to do my research before I make a decision. Im big on build it nice or build it twice... From what I gathered the f20 heads are fantastic from the factory and porting is generally looked at as a poor ROI, as are cams. Is this generally the thought process because of the 2.0 or will it benefit because of the extra displacement of the 2.4? It's going to be pumping more air so it could be more advantageous, right? Im not looking for big power or clout, but I am looking for efficiency. This car will be driven frequently during the nice months and down the road, my intention is to run 4-500whp and being able to do it with the least amount of boost, for reliability and durability reasons. Looking for advice from those that may have been in a similar spot or anyone with more knowledge about these cars and setups.
