I'm limiting the number of major sponsors to 6 (banners at the bottom). I'm doing this for two reasons:

1. I don't need more than that
2. The more ads you put down there, the lower the impact of each.

There are two problems with this idea which I didn't think of at first.

1. Each ad represents a significant portion of the total revenue thus losing one or two would have a significant impact (eggs in a basket thing)
2. Limiting to only six shuts out a lot of people from sponsoring making it an exclusive club (not what I want)

When I started it was more a question of whether I could get the sponsors necessary to pay for the site. Now it more about how can I ensure everyone gets a fair shot.

I am planning to change this in the next while. I just want to make sure I do the right thing. I'm weighing the options as we speak and should have a solution soon.
