send a screenshot, with your mouse hovered over the invisible links.

What browser, and version are you using, and with any adblocking, or extensions?

No blocking.

Hang on... You're lower than I am. In this thread, I see the Ridgeline image and link. It's between the Go to Thread Drop down and the single links for Home Forum Clubs, etc.. above the copyright. That area is fine.

I am talking about right next to the FAST REPLY text area. The text area takes up a fixed width on the screen, and there is plenty of 'blank space' to the right. Unfortunately, that blank space has links in it.

You are right. The mouse did not show when printscreen was depressed.
The mouse was located in the same place that Heyitsgary was talking about.

I had three different links in that location. I just took a shot of each link within that location, and layered them on the pic I provided. That first shot was cropped a bit. But the mouse was still hovered at all three locations to show the link in the lower left hand of the screen.

That was last night. This morning, no links.

I think it looks like a google bug, rather than an s2ki one

I'm trying to determine if this caused by my browser, my proxy server, or if it's coded in s2ki... Or if it's some sort of spyware?

In the blank field just to the right of the quick reply box I don't see anything. However when I mouse over it IE shows me various links, and if I click on them I'm of course taken to some new site. They appear to be googleads. www.simpledealers.com, www.ebay.com, magazine-subscriptions-online.com, although the exact sites change.

Looks like it's being loaded from this line? src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"

I don't understand why I cannot see them, however. It's rather annoying to click on what appears to be blank area, but then be redirected to another site.

Does anybody else see this behavior?

Hmm. I don't use IE so I naturally haven't seen it before. I believe you that they are there, don't get me wrong. They shouldn't be hidden. If there are ads there they should be visible (or what's the point right?).

I'll switch over to a PC and browse around this afternoon with IE and see if I can replicate it. I can't start to solve the issue until I get a first hand look.

As an aside I recommend using Firefox as a browser rather than IE. IE is full of security holes, is not standards compliant (especially in terms of CSS standards) and hasn't be updated in years. Microsoft abandoned the product, you should too.

Go to http://www.mozilla.org to download and install Firefox.
