Avatar Image Scale?
So I have a 67kb, 640x425 JPEG I'd like to use as my avatar. (Not full size, obviously.) The avatar update page says pictures will automatically be scaled if they're too big. When I upload the picture, I get an error "You are not allowed to upload that type of file as an avatar or personal photo." Does the auto-sclaing apply to dimensions ONLY?

Elistan, the max upload size for avatars is 6Kb, you're exceeding that by a lot. If you can't get the image resized, email it to me yogi _at_ s2ki.com and I'll resize and send it back to you.

Yeah, I was hoping that the auto scaling would work on the size of the file. When I get back to my XP machine I should be able to scale it. I think.

why can't the avatar imaging be 100x 100 max with no kb limit. especially for gold members. i didn't pay you guys 50 dollars for nothing now did i? i like the album feature but i'd like to have a decent size avatar without the size limit. 6k is like almost nothing. especially if you're running a 21 inch crt monitor
