Reducing a jpeg still image to 6K is no problem if you use a good application like ImageReady. The 6K limit is really just saving us from all the stupid animated gifs that people would use. I read other forums that allow 50K avatars, and the animated gifs are annoying as hell.

It's terrific so many of you offered to help. This site is a pleasure. Can anyone resize this photo to a correct avatar setting?



If this is sucessful, we'll next address how to get those neat, but pesky tags at the bottom ... Vintage, etc.
