Is it possible to increase the size limit on avatars? To, say, 128x128?
That way, instead of this
my avatar can look like this

It's 1204 bytes vs 3250, still under the 5000 byte limit.

I agree. I actually had to switch my avatar to my ass since it was small enough to fit the 50x50 limit. I would like to use a much more detailed photo (not of my ass) that is about 120x120.

I just posted something about this in off-topic as well. If we are going to have avatars than they need to be bigger. However, I wonder about those with a modem and if a lot of avatar photos will slow things down.
