This is probably a bit off topic, but I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing a slow down in the board lately??

 

Yes it is, but i think Cthree is working on it!

 

I've really noticed a slow down over the last couple weeks also. I'm in L.A. and it's definitely summer weather out here so there might be a lot of people on vacation or out in their stook. Dunno??

 

It's more than a little slow, it's painful! No-one feels it more than I, trust me. I am trying to get the new server online this week which will make all the difference in the world.

Stay tuned, I am actively working on it but it's going to take a few more days.

I was actually referring to the speed of the board, not the number of posts. I've noticed that the board doesn't load as quickly as before. I think there's probably a lot more traffic on this board than before.

Geez, don't I feel stupid That's funny because I was actually thinking of how there weren't as many posts as I remember but actually it's probably because I'm on here 24/7. Now, the physical speed of things being slow does ring a bell also, even with DSL it seems to load slowly but that fact that the Hard Drive on server is probably maxed would cause this slow down. Especially, if it's not an Ultra 3 160 SCSI drive running on a 133 Mhz bus with gobs of RAM. Is this server at Cthree's house or is this co-hosted/Dedicated servers?? I wonder...Oh, Mark, definitely, I will be at the next meet and can't wait to meet all you guys/gals and see some of my siblings BTW, I've told Greg Stevens that I will be helping out with Organizing the L.A. chapter of S2KCA so I hope to see you all often!
