I want to add a custom avatar but cannot get the file small enough. I am quite incompetent with any graphics program. The file I want to use is in my photo album or if you PM or email me I will send it to you.

Yes, I realized I am a complete idiot and spelled "graphically" incorrect. Sorry, flame away.

 

Mouse over, *save picture as*, upload it to you album and then refer you avatar options settings to that url. Basically I just reduced it be 50% and adjusted the brightness/contrast a bit to get it to pop a little more. Hope this is what you wanted. If the crop or the dimensions aren't what you were looking for, let me know and I'll do it again.
