People wanted premade vafc harnesses. I found a shop that would support me by letting me solder them up for members here. I post on here that I'll do it for a small cost which covers my expenses to drive 60 miles AFTER work to the shop to make them. The thread gets moved, then deleted. Why? Because I don't pay for advertisement here. So let me get this straight, I have to pay hundreds a month to this site in order to do no-profit labor for members here. How does that make sense? Regardless, it is their site, and they can do what they want. But I modified my thread to simply state how I wasn't allowed to do that and then they proceeded to delete the thread entirely. Wonderful.

Sorry for trying to do a favor for the USERS of this site. I'm sure this will get deleted also.

 

why don't you sell them by yourself? i'm sure the members here would support your efforts (including myself) - if you did all the work, no need to go through some vendor, right?

 

Rich it would be a great idea, but the issue here is, he's not an individual. He's a business owner. So, regardless of profit and effort, the moderators are being fair to the paid sponsors of the site by protecting them. Even if it doesn't yeild any profit, it attracts customers away from sponsors of this site.

 

because I can't get them at the prices that would make people want to buy them, plus they were going to handle all the payment and shipping headache. I dont have enuf time to be my own store. I just wanted to use my technical skills to create a bulletproof harness so people wouldn't mess up their cars and be able to have this mod (which i feel is the best bang for the buck out of any s2k mod). I wouldn't buy them from myself at the cost i'd have to resell it at! heh.. anywho.. too much effort and i don't have the time or desire to argue with the mods.

Sorry you don't like our policies that you agreed to when you signed up, but we have them for many reasons.

I am moving this to site info so that you can complain about all you want. Still doesn't change the fact that diablo motorsports is not a sponsor.

If you want to sell the harness you made by themselves as an owner made product that is allowed.. Just like the early mingster dead pedals and windscreens. Still doesn't change the fact that you are trying to sell product for Diablo.

I have discussed this plenty with you in the past. It's the policy of this site.

How about you just sell the harness? Directly from you.

If you made it, which I believe that you did you as an owner would be allowed to sell it without being a sponsor.

 

Oh and it's not 100's of dollars a month. Individual group buys are available for $25. You didn't ask so I guess you don't know that.
