Default E-mail notifications

Hi Folks,

I've just noticed that I'm not receiving email notifications of responses to conversations I'm subscribed to. Anyone else having this problem?

I've double checked my email address listed under my profile and it's correct. I had been getting them, now I'm not. I wasn't sure where else to ask this question and figured the right person would probably see it here.

I will be clicking "Enable email notification of replies?" on this post too. I always do, it's habbit!

Drive Safe,
Steve R.

I'm not getting them either. Haven't gotten them since the upgrade. I looked a few days ago and noticed that under "email settings" all the checkboxes were BLANK! I checked them all in, but still, nothing has changed.

Well, at least I know I'm not alone on this one. I didn't receive any email notifications for any or your replies either.

Out of curiosity, any of you folks on Road Runner accounts like I am? I've heard of problems with the ISP blocking emails from certain forums at times. I've not had this problem with Road Runner before but it's possible that the issue is with them and not S2ki.

Just wondering?

Edit: I just noticed something else. Usually, at least since we've been on V4, once I reply to a subject and click the "Email notification of replies" box, that function is automatically enabled on any subsequent reply I make to the conversation. When I just posted this, I had to click the "email notification" box again. Maybe they're reconfiguring the system again and haven't got all the bugs worked out?

I'm getting a zillion emails but for my subscribed forums rather than threads (I don't have any threads monitored). RR is passing them all just fine - had to set junk filters in Firefox to keep them out of the inbox...

cthree said he's switched email notification off, and to get it you had to subscribe, but i guess you are subscribing and still not getting any?

Correct. Like this post, at the top I just hit "Track this topic", and it says, "You are already subscribed to this topic or forum." But still, no emails.

^ I'm still getting the New Topic emails even though he said he switched it off. I have no boxes checked under Forum Preferences to receive emails. I posted about this in the v4 thread also.
