I stopped getting e-mail notifications for the threads I've posted in but I do get forum notifications.

Also, when they do get the e-mail not's back on can they have it set up like before? Where the thread topic is in the title of the e-mail?

Every time I reply to a topic / conversation, I check the box to get email notification of replies. I'm not getting them. The "Post Options" below the box I'm typeing this in even says, "You are currently receiving email notification of replies." Only problem is, I'm not!

I know you guys are working on it. I'll be patient!

I am just the opposite (I think) of what you guys are describing. I have unchecked all the boxes having to do with emails being sent for anything and I am still getting email notifications for the forums I have subscribed to. I had 653 emails in my inbox over a 3 day period and my computer didn't like it.

Is anyone else having this probablem?

^ Mine is exactly your problem. So some of us are getting new topic emails we don't want and others are not getting reply to thread emails they do want.

There are two schools on this. There are those who think getting emails when subscribed topics are replied to or subscribed forums get a new topic is a feature and those who think it's a bug.

Which are you?

Email notifications for subscribed topics is off. You will not get them. Email notifications for subscribed forums is *supposed* to be off but clearly it's still on. It will be turned off when I can get to it.

If you want email notifications on reply to a thread you MUST reply to that thread and specifically check the "Enable email notification of replies?" option. If you use Fast Reply you must click "More Options" to see this option.

Subscribing to a topic or forum DOES NOT send emails It adds it to MyS2K only. If you want emails you must specifically request them in your reply.

Hi Cthree,

Every time I reply to or join a conversation, I click the "receive email notification" box under the "Post Option" area below where you type your text. I "am not" getting "any" email notification of any kind. Right now, as I type this, the "Post Options area says, "You are currently receiving email notification of replies."

No, I'm not!!! Nor am I receiving them for any other thread that I've responded to in the past couple of weeks. I was when they first converted to V4, but it stopped which is why I started this thread. I always click the box to receive email notification of other replies. It's always worked before but something's been turned off for some reason. I double checked my email address in my profile and it is correct.

Please help if you can. Thanks!

^ I'm still having the same prob as Intrepid. No emails for replied threads, even though it says "You are currently receiving email notification of replies."

I found the option in my profile to automatically turn on email notification for any conversation I start (such as this one) or respond to. I turned that on and so far, it's made no difference.

Please help!

I am also getting tons of email from the forum notifications. It is really annoying. The only thing I want email from is PM's.
