email notification of PM's

Default email notification of PM's

I just renewed my membership (got the card in less than a week...nice job guys)

I have checked my setting and email notification for PM's is checked, however I'm not getting the notification

Did I miss something

Is anyone sending you any PMs? If they are and you are reading them immediately (or within a few hours), you may be defeating the notification.
Try this to confirm: Send yourself a PM but DON'T go look at it. Give it a day or so and see if an email comes.

yes the email is correct, and all the setting are correct.

I renewed my membership, it's not a new memebership.

I sent myself a PM as advised yesterday. I have not opened it. I have checked my email address and it is correct.

I still do not have a notification.

Hmmmm, I just sent myself a PM and the email notification was instantaneous. As soon as I sent it and went to my email and retrieved new emails, it was there.
Are you sure that when you go to your email settings that the box beside the PM email notification has a green check mark in it? If it doesn't upon first arriving at that window, then you didn't click on the bar at the bottom to tell it to "amend my email settings".
Also, if this doesn't work, you can go to "board settings" and select "YES" where it asks if you want a "POP UP" whenever you get a new PM when you view the board.

just to be clear... my membership was renewed. Everything worked before the renewal. There is a black check on the mail box, I have verified the email addy is the correct addy.

So now what?

it's nothing to do with membership. I've sent a test email through the email button on your profile.

It might be that your ISP thinks it is spam and is blocking it, what isp is your email address?
