I was just curious. Is the forum here a custom design or is it commercially available off the net?
Here's why I ask.
I am the founder and moderator of the Formula 1 forum on Yahoo. Recently our format was changed from their 'Clubs' format to a 'Groups' format. While this may not mean much if you haven't visited, what it has done is rendered my forum almost useless. There are now extremely annoying pop-ups, click through ads to get to posts, etc...and it's just plain ugly.
The most offensive thing though is that they changed the name from 'Formula 1' to 'Formula 1-1'.
I also have 1500 members angry about the change.
Anyway, I have been researching ways to host my own forum.
The S2ki forum are amazing...fast, easy to navigate and informative.
I don't wish to copy S2ki, but if the board is a available program I would like to try and incorporate it into my own design after making the appropriate changes.
If anyone knows what the program is or has any other suggestions, I would be very grateful for the advice/help.
