Crikey. Not another one. What's wrong with it the way it is?

Most of the above sounds good although I'm apprehensive about the following...

The store will drop back a level and there will be direct links to group buys, buyers guide, classifieds, product news and so forth.
Which store are you refering to?

The GFL S2KI Marketplace store. Right now when you click on Marketplace you go to the GFL store. That will change. When you click on Marketplace after Jan 31 04 you will see a new marketplace home page. There will be a link from there to the GFL store and links to other sections of the marketplace. There will also be product announcements and news which will replace the commercial posting in the forums we have right now.

Wow I am totally 100% confused as to what you are trying to implement. I know it's your board (Managing Dictator )but don't you think an across the board change without prior notification/explanation to those who have supported you in the past is wrong? I didn't know this was happening, neither did Murray, so I'd be willing to bet that most of the sponsors don't know. You might not feel that way, but since S2ki is being run like a business and in the real business environment this would never fly. The sponsors are your customers since they are paying you for a service. If you change the way the service is provided a full explanation should be provided. To some people (not me) this is their livelihood but if it was going to effect the way I am able to pay my bills, I think I'd want to know in advance and have a say in it. Remember a lot of the shops on here cater to the S2000 community exclusively. S2ki is the largest forum for S2000 owners in the world so you can't just believe that a change isn't going to effect them.

I should state that since I am still not totally understanding what the changes are going to be. I am sounding a little negative, but this is my point. The changes could be beneficial to everyone but as of now there isn't enough information for anyone to know.
