Gauging Interest For GB Forum
Erik, ok what I meant was that since members (non-sponsors) can now pay to host a GB. Will they be held to the same rules? In the past members hosting an one time GB have been able to sell stuff without any questions asked (ie Vortech, Mugen items, other grey market stuff). Will they now need to provide you paperwork saying that they are acquiring it from an authorized vendor as well?
Grr... Got this month bill. I was charged twice the amount. Cthree, can you check to make sure if I was double charged. Or it's because of the new policies. If it's for the previous two months. Or for this past month or the new up coming month. Then I apologize, and just forget about thist post. But can you please check for me.
Thank you

Certain products and product lines require authorization to resell. Vendors selling these items will need to fax me proof of authorization. Toda or Mugen for example. Only those vendors who have submitted their documentation will be allowed to create such a group buy anyway so this is not something the moderators will have to worry about.

I've been giving this some thought and something irks me about this. I agree that we shouldn't promote grey-market items and that getting authorization cuts away some of the clutter. But how is it fair that when real companies have to get authorization to sell certain items. Yet, other companies feel it's ok to buy an item and make a knock-off (basically stealing the design) and then sell it. So S2ki won't promote grey market but will they allow what basically amounts to theft? Look at other forums, this is nowhere near as prevelant as it is on s2ki.
