Have read or Not have read that is the question.......
ok, bad assumption on my part, lemme try to clarify the best I can.
1) when there is a link on the page that you have not visited before, it is one color
2) when you see a link that you have already visited it is another color
3) when you hover your pointer over a link regardless if its been visited, it is another color
4) and when you click on a link, regardless if its been visited, it becomes another color
each of these items can be specified to a particular color, right now, it is set to the ones stated above, which are each colors in hex read by the html page.
with most pages, these colors are not specified, so default colors will appear in the browser. if you visit www.off-topic.net and click around, you'll noticed for any of the four cases above, the links will be 'black' and will not change.
so basically if there is another color that would help make the site more usable for you to see by color what you have looked at and what you haven't looked at just by first glance, then make a suggestion or say, that just doesn't work. (which is what you are doing, right?) =)
