I see postings about people locking their own threads, but I can't figure it out. I'm sure it's obvious, but anyway... can u give me a clue? (and I want to be able to lock my own thread, not have it locked by a Moderator.)

scroll down till you see "ADMIN OPTIONS" with the scroll down list, and scoll to "OPEN/CLOSE THREAD". It works!!

 

yep, simple as that..

you can not delete your own threads however.. big distinction
