If you mean a stickied thread that shows at the top of a forum you can't start one. Threads are stickied at the discretion of the moderators if they are determined to warrant such a position. I'm moving this thread to site info.

And besides, what do you mean "True" S2000 owners?

I don't get it. You either own one or you don't. If you own one and want to admit it, you enter your VIN and it shows "owner" under your username. If you own one and don't want to admit it, you don't enter your VIN. If you don't want to admit you are an owner under your username, why would you want to admit it in the body of a thread?

Wow,

I had no Idea that you guys would flame this tread so HARD!

I just wanted to start a thread about expanding the experience of the joy of ownership after the car was paid off. I had no idea I would get flamed for it!

Also thanks for moving this tread to the back corner where the K-mart "layaway" section is. Now that this tread is in a very prominent location on this forum it'll get So many views.

I feel very embarrassed to be a part of this online community. Is this how you guy treat new members??

I guess I'll stick to posting topics like, "what are the offsets for my new 28 inch rims" and "how do you get 959 HP out of our 2.0 L F20C"

As a side note,
Just paid off the car and it's good to know that it's mine ..... ALL MINE NOW!!

Who's flaming you? I think people just don't understand exactly what you're asking or what the topic of the thread you want to start is. As for moving the thread, S2000 talk is our forum devoted to discussing the S2000. Site info is the appropriate forum for discussions about site related issues and policies. It is the appropriate place for this thread.

I think the "wording" of your first post doesn't convey what you really wanted to do and thus, the responses you got. The way you worded it gave the impression of "elitism". For example, your idea of a "TRUE" owner makes it sound like everyone else is a "FALSE" owner (a bit of a slap in the face, don't you think?). Those who still have payments may still consider themselves "true" owners. And by the wording of your first post, those who don't actually own an S2000 are "sub-par". So, can you really blame people for taking a bit of offense?
Had you worded it like you just did, it would have met with a different reception. You said nothing about loans, payments, etc.

As I always say in "Under the Hood" ..................................
A better question will net you a better answer.
