I still dont think it makes a difference. Why should not having a loan outstanding make the car any more enjoyable?

Strange.

Your thread will end up being a flame war about having the car on finance or not, as i look into my crystal ball.

Personally, 29 days a month having a lien on my S2000 doesn't diminish the fun of "pseudo-ownership" ;-), but in the winter on that 30th day when I'm writing the check on a car I haven't driven in months...
