how do you put a video on the sig.?

Default how do you put a video on the sig.?

Can anyone help? I have seen it done but am clueless as to HOW to do it. I have a video I would like to put on my signature...can I email someone the video and have them convert it please??????

You need to have the vid "hosted" somewhere (a servor), then put the link in your sig. I think what you see in some people's sigs is an animated gif and these can be stored in your photo album here and then linked to your sig using image tags.

get the movie file hosted like mentioned above or you could convert the movie into a animated gif like the one in my sig...it is (478562bytes / almost half a meg)....either way you need to link it from your sig config

Can you help me out? Can you convert to a .gif if I email you the video? It is 1MB...

best bet is to ask in the forum for someone that would like to host the movie file for you....it will be a better quality and all that than a conversion most likely.....then they would then give you the URL and then that is added in your sig config...http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/misc.php?s=&...=&action=bbcode

No offense but a 1MB signature is a very BAD idea. It's cool and all but inconsiderate of those who don't benefit from a broadband Internet connection.

enough said...I though maybe once transfered intoa .gif, it could be reduced considerably...no problem, I will drop the subject....

We tend to be nazis about size I know but such a sig could prevent a modem user from viewing any thread you post in. Thanks for understanding
